T2A self cleaving peptide
The T2A self cleaving peptide induces a cleavage of the nascent peptide during ribosomal translation, which causes the peptides upstream and downstream of the T2A sequence to be released as distinct peptides [1]. It can be used to create multi-cistronic open reading frames.
